High res images are great for print, especially large photos. Websize images are good for posting on social media, because social media only allows smaller resolution photos. So if you post an image that’s too big for facebook’s likings, it might look blurry because it made it smaller.. Nothing is wrong with the actual photo!
What’s the difference between high res and websize images downloads in my online gallery?
This totally depends on the couple / your timeline! If time allows, I think first looks are great! They allow some of those nerves to go away, a special moment for the two of you to be alone and soak in the day or read special notes / vows, more time for photos after the ceremony, a shorter time that your guests are waiting, etc. Most of the time, I will suggest also sneaking away at sunset to get even more bride and groom portraits! If you aren’t interested in a first look and wanna keep things traditional, no problem at all! We will come up with a timeline that suits your desires perfectly and you will still get plenty of images!
DO YOU SUGGEST A FIRST LOOK?
Don’t worry about it, I got you! Once we get you booked, I’ll go through some questions with you over coffee, phone call, or my email questionnaire or a combo of that sort. Then I will either make you a timeline from scratch or adjust a timeline you already made. We will come up with your perfect order of events, put time frames to them, and I’ll add some cushion time. We will do our best to stick to schedule, but if we get off schedule a bit, don’t stress because I’m flexible and I understand that stuff happens!
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD WE ALLOW FOR PHOTOS on our wedding day?
Heck yeah! I’m just as excited as you are to see your photos. I typically will text you about 20 images ASAP after your wedding / session. Usually within 24 hours!
DO YOU SEND SNEAK PEEK PHOTOS?
Fill out the contact form on my Hit Me Up Page or send an email (chloe@chloemariephotography.com) - This is the best way to keep all of my clients organized. We can text after we get you officially booked!
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY FOR US TO COMMUNICATE?
YES, I freakin LOVE to travel! Travel fees will apply for locations farther than 100 miles from either one of my bases. I’m based in Jackson, Tennessee AND Bel Air, Maryland. Destination weddings and elopements are a customized travel fee. I’ll do my research and send you an exact price breakdown!
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Personally, I like to give you as many as possible that meet my standards (are in focus, no crazy looking faces, correct settings, etc.). I understand that my favorite smile on you might not be your favorite smile on you so I try to include diversity. According to my contract, I guarantee 150 photos for 4 hours of coverage; 250 photos for 8 hours of coverage. But my average for an 8 hour wedding day is usually around 800 images. And usually around 200 for couple’s sessions.
How many photos will I get in my gallery?
I suggest googling what time sunset will be (example: what time is sunset on June 3rd, 2021 in canon beach, oregon). And have your ceremony about 1.5 hours before sunset
When should I have my ceremony time for the best lighting?
Do you use natural light or flash?
I prefer natural light and will use it as long as possible! Most of the time I need to use a flash during wedding receptions, but I only use one on the camera. So no flash stands to trip or fall over ;)
