Pregnancy Announcement Ideas for Beach Photoshoot in Tampa, Florida

Sara & Jeremy planned their 2nd anniversary couples session with me in the Tampa area, and it was also a pregnancy announcement photoshoot! I shot this sweet couple’s backyard wedding in 2020, and it was so fun to also celebrate this moment with them! Check out some pregnancy announcement ideas for beach photoshoot in Florida below.

Ideas for Beach Photoshoot

1. Bring Props!

Sara & Jeremy brought a super cute onesie that said “Co-Pilot Coming Soon!” Jeremy is a pilot, and it was such a fun and personal way to announce Baby Ham! They also brought their ultrasound photos which is always an amazing prop to use.

2. Write the due date and a cute note in the sand.

Writing in the sand can feel cheesy for a beach photoshoot, but with pregnancy announcements, I think it can be so cute! Didn’t these turn out so good?

3. Utilize all the lighting and locations at the beach. Get in the water and utilize the dune grasses!

When you’re having a couples photoshoot at the beach, you have endless opportunities with different lighting and locations. As a Florida couples photographer who captures couples on the beach often, you should take full advantage of your surroundings! Don’t expect a short session with just a few shots in the sand. With my couples, we get in the dune grass, embrace all of the different lighting, and will even get in the water!

4. Bring multiple outfits for a variety of shots!

Multiple outfits gives you a variety of shots to enjoy as you look back on celebrating your little one! Plus, with a neutral clothes palette on the beach, your emotions become the focal point in your couples photos for beautiful, emotion filled pictures.
